Gearing up for SDCC 2023

It's already that time of year again, and I'm covering SDCC as press for The Beat again. I'm excited by what's coming even as the strikes throw things into a bit of chaos. The strikes are absolutely needed and I completely support them, don't get me wrong, but they've certainly made things more interesting.

New this year is the ridiculous amount of parties I've been invited to. I've actually had to decline a couple on Friday in particular, and ignore a Thursday one. It's a shame nobody's partying on Sunday as I've got that wide open.

Anyway, expect coverage on The Beat, Twitter, and Bluesky as I try to do as many of the things as I can, including so much Star Trek. SO MUCH.
