Getting 2023 going

Last year I published 8 articles and 5 pieces that went into anthologies or journals. I set a goal this year to get 8 articles again and 10 other pieces. Today the first article of the year got published, one on disability so far in The Last of Us, and a couple of days ago my first pitch to an anthology was accepted. I still have to write said piece, but I'm happy with the way I'm starting to see some progress on things.

I had to send in a sample of my writing to the anthology so I sent in a piece that I love that I can't find a home for yet, and there were some really interesting comments in the grading rubric they sent back so I have some thoughts as to how to make it better. Maybe this year Clouds can also find a home. I can hope.

So far this year I've also put up two waves of jewelry releases with a third on the way, I've gained about 20 followers on Twitch, and I'm up to three subscribers. It's not a lot, but I'm getting there. And if you're ever free on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday afternoon, drop by my stream and say hi!
